Geekbench listings typically display device model numbers rather than commercial names. In this case, the results reference the model number “YLE-W09.” Honor has already confirmed that this model number corresponds to the MagicPad 4.
The MagicPad 4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This processor is among Qualcomm’s latest high-performance mobile platforms designed for flagship smartphones and tablets. The chipset combines powerful CPU cores with advanced graphics processing and improved energy efficiency.
According to the available benchmark data, CPU performance from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 appears strong. In both single-core and multi-core tests, the MagicPad 4 demonstrates performance comparable to devices using the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. These results place the tablet among the top-performing Android tablets currently expected to enter the market.
The benchmark scores also suggest that the MagicPad 4 surpasses some competing tablets in CPU performance. Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Delivers Strong CPU Scores but GPU Results Lag Behind Expectations
While CPU performance appears promising, early GPU results from the MagicPad 4 present a more mixed picture. The tablet uses Qualcomm’s Adreno 829 graphics processor integrated within the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
However, early benchmark results suggest that GPU performance may not reach the same level as competing flagship chipsets. OpenCL and Vulkan benchmark scores reported in the Geekbench database appear somewhat lower than expected. These graphics tests evaluate how efficiently a device processes graphical workloads and compute tasks.
