Both models feature 11mm dynamic drivers and offer active noise cancellation (ANC), which Vivo claims can reduce ambient noise by up to 60dB. The average noise reduction depth is rated at 28dB, helping users enjoy clear audio in various environments. The earphones also come with Hi-Res Audio certification and DeepX 4.0 stereo sound tuning.
Vivo TWS 5 series supports ultra-wideband noise reduction at 5,500Hz and includes a three-microphone setup for AI-driven noise suppression during calls. Each earbud houses a second-generation ceramic tungsten acoustic diaphragm with a nano-coating to improve sound clarity and durability.
The TWS 5 series supports Bluetooth 5.4 for fast and stable connections within a 10-metre range. Gamers will appreciate the low latency of just 42 milliseconds, ensuring audio sync during fast-paced gameplay. The earbuds are also IP54 certified for resistance to dust and splashes.
Both versions support triple-device connection, enabling users to switch seamlessly between multiple devices. The built-in smart translate feature offers voice translation between languages like Chinese, English, Korean, French, Thai, and more. Touch controls let users manage calls and music with simple gestures.
Pricing, Battery Life, and Codec Support Across the TWS 5 Lineup
The Vivo TWS 5 is priced at CNY 399 (approximately Rs. 4,500), while the Vivo TWS 5 Hi-Fi variant is priced at CNY 499 (around Rs. 5,500). The standard model comes in Simple White, Pure Black, and Smokey Purple. The Hi-Fi version is offered in Deep Sea Blue and White color options, based on translated descriptions.
In terms of battery life, the Vivo TWS 5 series performs impressively. With ANC turned on, users get up to six hours of playtime on a single charge. Both variants support popular audio codecs, but the Hi-Fi model offers a wider range. The TWS 5 Hi-Fi supports LDAC, LHDC, AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs, while the standard TWS 5 supports LDAC, AAC, SBC, and LC3. This makes the Hi-Fi version more appealing to audiophiles seeking richer audio experiences.

As competition in the wireless audio space grows, Vivo’s latest release shows strong potential to attract users looking for high-quality, feature-rich earbuds at a competitive price point.
