lucadelladora – Asus has expanded its ROG Strix OLED lineup with two new gaming monitors ahead of wider availability. The company introduced the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS and XG27AQDMES models.
Both monitors use Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel technology. They feature a 27-inch display with 1440p resolution and target high-performance gaming users.

The new models offer different refresh rate options to suit varying needs. The XG27ACDMS supports up to 280Hz, while the XG27AQDMES is limited to 240Hz.
Both displays feature a semi-glossy screen coating for improved visual clarity. Asus lists a response time of 0.03 milliseconds for both models.
The monitors include Asus’ OLED Care Pro technology suite. This system helps reduce the risk of burn-in, a known issue with OLED panels. It automatically dims the screen when the user moves away from the display.
These features aim to extend the lifespan of the OLED panels. They also provide added reassurance for users concerned about long-term durability.
Asus continues to refine its OLED offerings as demand for premium gaming displays increases. The company positions these models within the competitive mid-to-high-end segment.
The announcement also follows updates to the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2 model. Asus is expanding its OLED portfolio with multiple refresh rate and feature combinations.
XG27ACDMS Offers Higher Brightness and USB-C at $699 Price Point
The ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS includes several premium features compared to its counterpart. It offers a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.
This higher brightness level improves visibility in bright environments. It also enhances HDR performance during gaming and media playback.
The monitor includes a USB-C port with 15W power delivery support. This feature allows limited charging and connectivity for compatible devices.
With its higher refresh rate and additional features, the XG27ACDMS is priced at $699 in the United States. The pricing reflects its positioning as a more advanced model.
To achieve the lower price, Asus reduced certain specifications. The model has a peak brightness of 400 nits and does not include a USB-C port.
Despite these reductions, the monitor still retains core OLED advantages. These include fast response times and strong color performance.

Asus continues to compete in the gaming monitor market with OLED technology. The new models provide options for users seeking different performance levels and price points.
