The camera supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and comes with gesture control for hands-free operation. It has 128GB of built-in storage to hold large 8K files. Buyers in India can purchase the Osmo 360 through DJI’s official website and authorized retail partners.

DJI offers two main bundles. The Standard Combo costs about Rs. 48,000 (EUR 479.99) and includes the camera, an extra battery, a protective pouch, cleaning cloth, USB-C cable, and a lens protector. The Adventure Combo, priced at Rs. 54,990 (EUR 629.99), adds two multifunctional battery cases, a quick release mount, and a 1.2m invisible selfie stick. This pricing and packaging strategy positions the Osmo 360 as a premium action camera for creators who want advanced features in a compact form.

Features and Performance of the DJI Osmo 360

The Osmo 360’s standout feature is its 1-inch rectangular HDR sensor, which DJI says uses 25% more sensor area than typical rectangular sensors. It offers a large f/1.9 aperture and a 1/1.1-inch CMOS design for better light capture and image clarity. The camera achieves a high dynamic range of up to 13.5 stops, improving details in both shadows and highlights.

The device records native 8K video at 50 frames per second (fps) and can sustain 8K 30 fps recording for up to 100 minutes. It also offers single-lens mode, allowing 5K video recording at 60 fps with a 155-degree field of view. For wider shots, the Boost Video mode expands the view to 170 degrees but reduces resolution to 4K at 120 fps.

Users can also capture slow-motion videos at up to 4x speed and take 360-degree still photos at a resolution of 120 megapixels. The camera automatically removes the selfie stick from 360 footage, creating smooth third-person perspectives without manual edits. Photos save in JPEG, while videos use OSV and MP4 (HEVC) formats.

Additional features include voice and gesture controls, letting users start recording or take photos without touching the camera. The 1,950mAh battery offers over 1.5 hours of video recording, even in freezing temperatures. Using the optional Battery Extension Rod, users can extend recording time to 180 minutes.

The Osmo 360 supports microSD expansion beyond the built-in 128GB storage. It operates efficiently in temperatures from -20°C to 40°C, suitable for various outdoor conditions. This release places DJI at the forefront of 360-degree action camera technology, targeting creators who demand ultra-high resolution and advanced stabilization in compact devices.
