lucadelladora – Honor has previewed its upcoming MagicPad 4 tablet ahead of a full unveiling at Mobile World Conference. The company claims the device is the world’s thinnest Android tablet.
The new MagicPad 4 measures only 4.8 millimeters thick, excluding the camera bump. This design makes it noticeably slimmer than the previous MagicPad 3 model.

Honor said the new tablet is a full millimeter thinner than its predecessor. It is also slimmer than several premium tablets currently on the market.
For comparison, Apple’s iPad Pro measures about 5.1 millimeters thick. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 is also slightly thicker than Honor’s new tablet.
The reduced thickness highlights Honor’s focus on lightweight and portable hardware. Manufacturers increasingly compete on slim designs to improve portability.
Honor has not yet shown the complete device publicly. However, the teaser provides several key specifications ahead of the official announcement.
The company plans to reveal the tablet during its upcoming press conference at Mobile World Conference. The annual technology event gathers major smartphone and electronics brands.
Mobile World Conference often serves as a platform for companies to introduce flagship devices. Honor appears to use the event to highlight its latest tablet innovation.
The MagicPad 4 announcement also follows another unusual teaser from the company. Honor recently previewed a robot project during its earlier presentation.
MagicPad 4 Features OLED Display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chip
Honor confirmed that the MagicPad 4 includes a new 12.3-inch OLED display. The screen supports a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
Although the display is slightly smaller than the previous model, it represents a significant upgrade. The earlier MagicPad used an LCD panel instead of OLED technology.
OLED displays typically offer deeper contrast and improved color accuracy. These improvements can enhance media viewing and gaming experiences.
The device weighs 450 grams, which is 145 grams lighter than the previous model. The reduced weight partly results from the redesigned display panel.
Honor also slightly reduced the battery capacity compared with the earlier version. The MagicPad 4 includes a 10,100mAh battery inside the slim chassis.
Despite the smaller battery, the tablet supports 66W fast charging. Honor includes the compatible charger directly in the retail box.
Performance comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This chipset represents one of the latest high-end mobile processors for premium devices.
The tablet offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. These specifications position the device within the flagship tablet segment.
For photography and video calls, the MagicPad 4 includes two cameras. The rear camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor, while the front camera features a 9-megapixel sensor.
Honor also integrated an eight-speaker system designed for spatial audio playback. Multi-speaker setups aim to improve immersion when watching video content.
The tablet will run MagicOS 10, Honor’s customized software built on Android 16. The company continues to develop its own interface and software features.
Honor has not yet announced the official price or release date. More details are expected during the company’s press conference on Sunday at Mobile World Conference.
