The Realme 15x features a 6.81-inch HD+ display, which is larger than the 6.67-inch screen of its predecessor. The display now reaches a peak brightness of 1200 nits and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Offering smoother visuals than the Realme 14x’s 120Hz panel. Although the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor remains unchanged from the previous generation. Realme pairs it with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, the phone houses a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor as its main rear camera. Despite a triple-camera layout on the back, only one sensor is functionally relevant. The front camera also uses a 50MP sensor and supports dual-view video recording, motion deblur, and AI-powered features like object erasure.
One of the standout features of the Realme 15x is its durability. The phone is IP69 Pro-rated for dust and water resistance, capable of surviving in up to 36 types of liquids at temperatures between 0°C and 85°C. Realme also claims the device can withstand immersion for up to 60 days. The phone meets military-grade shock resistance standards, making it a strong option for users who prioritize ruggedness.
Long-Lasting 7,000mAh Battery, Fast Charging, and Smart Power Features
Powering the Realme 15x is a massive 7,000mAh battery, which Realme says can last up to two full days on a single charge. This matches the battery capacity found in other Realme 15 models but with one key difference—charging speed. The Realme 15x supports 60W fast charging and includes an 80W charger in the box. Although not the fastest in the series, this setup still provides efficient charging for everyday use.
Another useful feature is bypass charging, which directs power straight to the system without heating the battery. This function helps maintain battery health during heavy use, like gaming. The device also supports reverse charging at up to 6.5W, allowing users to power other accessories when needed. Realme claims the battery will retain near-new performance even after six years of use.
