The device offers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate on its 6.1-inch OLED display. Delivering a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. To protect against scratches and drops, Sony uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front panel.

The Xperia 10 VII arrives in charcoal black, turquoise, and white, and is IP65/68 certified for dust and water resistance. Inside, it features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which users can expand up to 2 TB via microSD. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery, which Sony claims offers up to two days of battery life on a single charge.

The new smartphone comes with four years of OS updates and six years of security patches, highlighting Sony’s commitment to long-term software support. In terms of dimensions, it measures 153 x 72 x 8.3 mm and weighs just 168 grams, making it compact and lightweight compared to many competitors.

Audio lovers will appreciate the front-firing stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 support, and the rare inclusion of a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sony’s DSEE Extreme upscaling enhances compressed audio files like MP3s using AI, while 360 Reality Audio with 360 Upmix converts stereo sound into spatial audio experiences.

Sony equips the Xperia 10 VII with a versatile camera system designed for social media and content creators.
