lucadelladora – Xgimi has introduced a new premium projector lineup called the Xgimi Titan Noir Series. Featuring three new models designed to deliver high brightness, strong contrast performance. And flexible installation options.
The new series is currently being offered through Kickstarter with substantial launch discounts. Giving early buyers lower pricing before the projectors reach wider retail availability.
The lineup includes:
- Titan Noir
- Titan Noir Pro
- Titan Noir Max
All three models focus heavily on image quality and cinematic performance, particularly through improved contrast ratios and triple-laser projection technology.
Brightness and Contrast Aim for Premium Home Cinema Experience
The base Titan Noir model is rated at up to 4,800 ISO lumens. While the Titan Noir Pro increases brightness to 6,000 ISO lumens.
At the top of the lineup, the Titan Noir Max reaches up to 7,000 ISO lumens. Positioning it among the brighter home cinema projectors currently available.
Contrast ratios also scale across the range:
- Titan Noir: up to 7,000:1
- Titan Noir Pro: up to 8,000:1
- Titan Noir Max: up to 10,000:1
Higher contrast ratios can significantly improve image depth, especially in darker movie scenes where deeper blacks and improved shadow detail become important.
All three projectors use a triple-laser light source, which typically offers better color accuracy and brightness consistency compared to traditional lamp-based systems.
According to Xgimi, the projectors achieve a Delta E value below 0.8 and cover 110% of the BT.2020 color space, suggesting strong color reproduction for HDR and cinematic content.
4K Playback and Flexible Projection Setup
The Titan Noir series supports 4K playback using pixel-shifting technology rather than native 4K panels.
The native resolution remains 1,980 x 1,080 pixels, but pixel shifting is used to simulate a higher-resolution 4K image.
While pixel shifting generally produces sharp visuals with minimal noticeable quality loss for most users, there are some limitations.
One example is refresh rate support. The advertised 240 Hz mode is only available at Full HD resolution and not while displaying 4K content.
Unlike ultra-short-throw projectors, the Titan Noir models use a standard-throw design. However, Xgimi includes a flexible projection ratio ranging from 0.98:1 to 2.0:1, allowing users greater freedom in room placement and screen sizing.
Lens shift support is also included, making setup easier without needing to physically reposition the projector extensively.
Integrated Audio and Kickstarter Pricing
Xgimi has equipped the projectors with built-in Harman Kardon speaker systems, allowing users to use the projectors without requiring external audio equipment immediately.
As part of the Kickstarter campaign, the flagship Titan Noir Max currently starts at $2,999.
Shipping is expected to begin in June.
Although crowdfunding campaigns always carry some risk, Xgimi already has an established reputation in the projector market, which may provide more confidence compared to lesser-known Kickstarter brands.
For buyers looking for a lower-cost alternative, Xgimi also continues to offer models such as the Xgimi Horizon 20.

Premium Features Enter More Competitive Market
The Titan Noir lineup reflects the growing competition in the premium home projector segment, where brands are increasingly emphasizing brightness, contrast, gaming features, and color accuracy.
By combining triple-laser technology, flexible installation options, high brightness levels, and aggressive launch pricing, Xgimi appears to be targeting enthusiasts who want a large-screen cinematic experience without stepping into extremely high-end projector pricing.
If the final retail performance matches the announced specifications, the Titan Noir series could become one of Xgimi’s most ambitious home cinema launches to date.
