lucadelladora – Honor has introduced the Honor Choice Codeler Headphones 2, a new pair of affordable over-ear headphones that combine premium features with a budget-friendly price.
The headphones were announced alongside several new Honor laptops and aim to compete in the growing mid-range audio market by offering active noise cancellation, spatial audio, long battery life, and Hi-Res Audio support at a relatively low cost.
Honor is offering the headphones in two color options: Classic Black and Camellia Gold.
In terms of design, the Choice Codeler Headphones 2 feature angled ear cups with slow-rebound memory foam and a self-sealing structure intended to reduce sound leakage.
According to Honor, the foam adapts to different head shapes and can also compensate for gaps created by eyeglasses, improving both comfort and audio isolation.
Packed With Premium Audio Features
Despite the affordable pricing, Honor includes several features commonly found in more expensive headphones.
The Choice Codeler Headphones 2 use 40mm dynamic drivers and support active noise cancellation with up to 57dB of noise reduction.
The headphones also support spatial audio with head tracking, aiming to provide a more immersive listening experience for movies, games, and music.
In addition, the device carries Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and supports multiple audio codecs including:
- LDAC
- AAC
- SBC
LDAC support is especially notable at this price point, as it allows higher-quality wireless audio streaming on supported devices.
Users can also switch between different equalizer presets depending on their listening preferences.
Long Battery Life and Gaming Features
Battery life is another major highlight of the headphones.
Honor claims the Choice Codeler Headphones 2 can deliver up to 70 hours of playback on a single charge, which translates to nearly three days of continuous use under certain conditions.
Fast charging support is included as well. A quick 10-minute charge reportedly provides up to 8 hours of listening time.
The headphones support Bluetooth 6.0 and include Bluetooth Multipoint functionality, allowing users to connect to multiple devices simultaneously.
For gamers, Honor has added a dedicated low-latency game mode that reduces latency by up to 60%.
Physical control buttons are included on the headphones, and there is also a standard audio jack for wired listening.
Even when used in wired mode, the headphones retain Hi-Res Audio certification for high-quality playback.

Affordable Pricing Could Make Them Competitive
The Honor Choice Codeler Headphones 2 launch with a price of CNY 399, which is roughly equivalent to $58.
Honor is also offering an introductory discount that lowers the price to CNY 339, or around $49.
The headphones are already available for purchase and ship with a carrying case included in the box.
With features such as ANC, LDAC support, spatial audio, long battery life, and gaming-focused optimizations, the Choice Codeler Headphones 2 appear positioned as a strong value-oriented option in the wireless headphone market.
If Honor eventually expands availability globally, the headphones could attract users looking for premium-style features without paying flagship-level prices.
