lucadelladora – Morefine has officially introduced the Morefine G2, a compact external GPU solution that combines desktop-class graphics with modern high-speed connectivity options.
The new eGPU features the desktop version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and supports both Thunderbolt 5 and OCuLink connections, giving users multiple ways to connect the device to laptops and mini PCs.
Morefine is currently offering the G2 through a pre-order campaign with a launch price of $1,099.
Desktop RTX 5060 Ti Powers Compact eGPU
The biggest highlight of the Morefine G2 is the inclusion of a full desktop RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
Although Morefine has not yet released official benchmark results, the RTX 5060 Ti is expected to deliver strong 1080p and 1440p gaming performance, especially when paired with modern CPUs and high-bandwidth connections.
The eGPU uses a dedicated cooling system with a built-in fan that offers three operating modes. Users can switch between quieter operation and maximum cooling performance depending on workload and noise preference.
Despite housing a desktop GPU, the enclosure remains relatively compact.
According to Morefine, the G2 measures:

The compact dimensions are possible partly because the power supply is external rather than built into the chassis.
The company also claims the device weighs approximately 700 grams, making it relatively portable for an eGPU setup.
OCuLink and Thunderbolt 5 Expand Compatibility
Connectivity is another major focus of the Morefine G2.
The device includes an OCuLink 4.0 x4 interface, which generally delivers better gaming performance than Thunderbolt-based connections because of lower overhead and more direct PCIe access.
Performance loss through OCuLink is usually limited compared to internal desktop GPU setups, especially when paired with a capable host system.
For devices without OCuLink support, the G2 also includes Thunderbolt 5 compatibility, which can additionally work through USB4 v2 connections.
The upstream Thunderbolt 5 port supports up to 100W Power Delivery, allowing the eGPU to charge connected laptops while simultaneously handling graphics data.
Morefine also includes:
- 1x downstream Thunderbolt 5 port
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.0
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
The downstream Thunderbolt 5 connection can support external displays up to 4K at 144Hz.
